As far as I remember 10 years ago when I started my first design business, webmasters/web developer were really important people since they were the gatekeepers to the cyber space. Only they knew how to add stuff and bring life to our websites, but nowadays things changed quite a lot and somehow “we” lost our position since the everyday “user” became his own webmaster.

I suppose as evolution goes and technologies improve the meaning of the word webmaster, we are no longer attached to the highly geeky person that knows how to write weird words and phrases that somehow power websites. Things now are so different that everyone can have his own website, or blog, or e-store, without even knowing a tiny bit of html or other programming language. The Internet world in now ruled by Free Content Management Systems.

The whole thing is that for the price of $3.95 per month, you can get your own web hosting account with already preinstalled content management system and within 30 minutes after you open your account, you can start editing you own website. You don’t need to know anything - with self explanatory menus you can start writing your own wordpress blog or company website. This power given to the user is killing web developers since they are loosing their positions as their roles become less and less important.

It is true, in less than 30 minutes you can have your own wordpress website and join the Internet experience. You can even choose from the tons of free wordpress themes and get the best looking “web design” with the click of a button. Its so easy!

The world is spinning up so fast, that now webmasters are no longer what they used to be. Nowadays webmasters are more of a journalists and writers (content creators) rather than the coders and developers that they used to be. This is so sad. People don’t need us any more.

I got inspired by the post below about the anti oxidant/anti aging effects of pomegranate and that pomegranate martini tastes very good. I guess the combination of dry vermouth and pomegranate juice make that cocktail taste really nice.

As an experienced bartender and student who spent most of his time in college - drinking in the local cocktail bar ( people usually say — the college life was great with exception for the educational part). I guess that’s not only me spent his days in college hunting girls and drinking out with friends all night long. I remember that I’ve almost switched my day with nights - partying all night long and sleeping all day.

There are more than 100,000 different cocktail mixed drinks but there are not more than 100 most popular recipes that each bartender must know. Martinis are one of them. Even thou martini is a trademark and only MARTINI (C) can produce it, all bartenders know that martini is made out of two alcohols - vodka and vermouth. When you want to make Martini Dry, you simply mix dry vermouth and vodka (it is advised that one uses tasteless vodka for martini in order to receive the original taste or if you want to make it with flavour you can use for example cherry vodka or something else.). The correct proportion is 40% vodka and 60% vermouth. Similar to Martini Dry you can make sweet martini by mixing sweet vermouth and vodka with the same proportions. Usually with sweet martini you can add some juice — for example pomegranate, cherry or whatever else you have there.

The typical garnishment for Martini is Bar Cherry or Olive — cherry is used for sweet martini and olive for dry. Please use only green olives because the other one have oil and will make the martini look very bad. Also you have to use cocktail glasses or the so call martini glasses to make nice presentation.

There are many other cocktails but it is interesting to note that about 50% of all people drink beer and only 40% go with cocktail drinks.

If you want to organize you birthday at home you must make sure you have at least few cases of beer, few bottles of vodka, one/two bottles of vermouth, and optional other cocktail alcohols. This will boost up your party quite a lot, especially after having a drink or two.

For more information on how to make nice cocktails you can visit this website - www.shot-cocktail-recipe.com I have more than 15,000 cocktail recipes there so I guess you will be able to find a nice one for your needs and alcohol that you have.

Article by: Venetsian

P.S. If you want me to write few more cocktail/party advises I’ll be glad to. Just post a comment requesting it.

In the past few years, pomegranates have been all over the news. Many people have touted them as being a “superfruit”, with numerous health benefits. Much research has been done, and it has been determined that pomegranates, and pomegranate juice, are indeed very healthy for your body. In this article we will be examining just exactly why the pomegranate is so healthy.

The biggest reason for the numerous health benefits of pomegranates is the high level of antioxidants this fruit contains. Pomegranates are extremely rich in polyphenols, or antioxidants. These antioxidants aid your body in functions such as wound repair, bolstering the immune system, as well as acting as an anti-inflammatory. It has also been shown that pomegranates can aid in fighting osteoarthritis.

As you can see, pomegranates are definitely a very healthy food. Guess what the best part is? They taste amazing. You can even make a pomegranate martini if thats your thing.

If you’d like to eat the fruit raw instead, you might be faced with a conundrum. Pomegranates, unlike many other fruits, are actually somewhat complex to eat. You have to break the fruit open and extract the kernels, or seeds, which are what you eat. You can read here for a great article on how to eat a pomegranate.

Figuring out a reasonable business VOIP solution for your company can be a daunting task. Luckily there are several resource websites on the internet that are well suited to making a good decision.

To start with the real basics, you may need to take a look at a couple of articles over at businessvoip.jp such as “What is VOIP” and “Getting Started with Broadband Telephony“. These should get you up to speed on the basics.

After you have that under your belt, you can start to take a look at the main companies selling VOIP. Skype is the granddaddy of them all, but there are a few others like Bell South and the Gizmo Project that are also climbing the ladder as possible competitors, not to mention MyVoip, which is probably among the cheaper companies for VOIP.

As with frontrunners in many sectors, Skype has its fair amount of detractors as a business VOIP solution, so be sure to take a look at a few of the reviews available online. Many people have said good things about Bell South’s offerings for business, so once again be sure to look into company reviews.

After you have the basics of VOIP straight, the decision should be a simple cost-benefit analysis. Once again, VOIP price comparisons are available to make your life that little bit easier.

Good luck with the decision!

Many people don’t know about the great importance of their website domain name. Most simply put the company name or whatever else they can find available, but there is a special formula that can boost your website higher in the search engine rankings.

Lets start with one very simple approach. We shall assume that the company is called Vista Studio and we offer professional graphics design services. In general one would simple go with domain vistastudios.comor .net or whatever else is free (with dashes and etc.), but that would help you rank better in the search engines only for your company name and that’s not what we are aiming. If you know the company name then it’s really easy to find their website, but we need to rank higher for the services that we provide not the name. In such situation experienced online marketers will put the domain name to be something like prographicsdesign.com or if this is not available something else which will include in the domain name our targeted keywords. Even if the domain name becomes a bit longer – up to a reasonable type-able size then you shouldn’t worry about it. Try putting some dashes to see if this name is free.

Why this is domain name keywords are very important?

Search engines assume that if you have website called “professional graphics design” then the chances that you will be offering professional graphics design services are quite better then offering dating services or other. This rule is applicable to most search engines (not to say all, but at least the major ones like Google, MSN and Yahoo). Those major search engines cover about 98% of all internet searches done so if you rank good on them you will most definitely be a winner.
